INNER CHILD is a new improv show designed to explore the joy of childhood through the eyes of people of color. In a series of comedic scenes and storytelling monologues, our actors will challenge the adultification of children of color by reclaiming innocence and celebrating our universal “inner child.”

INNER CHILD was created to remind us all that no matter what we look like, most of the experiences of childhood are universal. We experience wonder, magic, growth, fun, learning. Little moments of joy, of triumph, and even of simple sadness. Inner Child celebrates just being a kid, as we experience it rather than as others perceive it.
