After a brief intermission, the show will delve into the heart of dating experiences with a series of improv scenes, inspired by audience suggestions or stories from a monologist. Whether it's the good, the bad, or the downright weird, Let’s Go On A Date promises to bring the dating world to life in a way you've never seen before.

Open to ages 18+, this show is your chance to sit back, laugh, and perhaps even see your own dating stories played out on stage. So, buckle up and get ready for a wild ride through the world of dating!

With 5 kids, 9 jobs, and countless memories between them, they’re ready to bring these musicals to life—with a little help from their newest friends, the audience!

In Mama Drama, you'll witness an entirely improvised musical workshop based on audience suggestions. Our characters rekindle their high school dreams, navigating the humorous and heartfelt moments of their evolving friendships. No two shows are the same, offering a fresh, unique experience every time.

Meet the cast:

  • Amanda Lee Williams, the Youth Programs Director at Dad's Garage Theatre Company, brings her expertise and passion for youth theater.

  • Karen Cassady, known for her successful social media presence, adds her unique charm and wit to the ensemble.

  • Justin Geer, an accomplished improviser and musician, provides live piano accompaniment, making each performance musically rich and spontaneous.

All three performers are ensemble members at Dad's Garage Theatre Company and are renowned working artists in and around Atlanta.

The Nativity Starring Keisha Taylor

Keisha Taylor is a #GoodGirl. Or so she’s told when she’s cast as the Virgin Mary over her “fast” friend Trinity in their church’s Christmas play. But when Trinity announces she is pregnant by divine intervention, everything Keisha knows about faith and friendship is turned upside down. As Trinity ignites a religious movement at school and online, a doubtful Keisha finds solace in a mysterious boy from the darkest tangles of the World Wide Web. With the Christmas play quickly approaching, can Keisha mend her friendship with Trinity while reconciling the limits of her own faith?

The Nativity Starring Keisha Taylor is a satirical look at religion, purity culture, and Black girlhood in the age of social media.

Little Shasha

It's 1993 in Irvington, NJ: a charming but crumbling ghetto suburb.  Black American ghetto's have long been the epicenter of cool, especially in the 90's. It was the height of Jordans, Adidas, LL cool J ... it's a culture that Black immigrants know nothing of. This story is about Little Shasha, a first generation Haitian preteen who desperately wants to be a part of cool Black American culture while trying to find a symbiotic relationship with her own. Throughout the series we see her defend, neglect and come to terms with who she is and who she wants to be.

This event is a reading of a new sitcom developed by Shakirah DeMesier.
